This is the single most common reason shops abroad end up running two systems: the owner needs Chinese to trust the numbers, and the cashiers cannot work in a language they do not read. Products that treat language as an installation-wide setting force you to pick one.
Because the setting belongs to the account, adding a local hire does not mean changing anything for the owner. You create the user, set their language, and the same catalogue, prices and stock sit underneath both views.
One honest limitation: the interface is translated, your own product names are not. If you type a product name in Chinese, it stays in Chinese on every screen and on the receipt. For anything a customer or a local employee has to read, enter the name the way it should appear locally when you first set the product up — retro-fitting names across a catalogue of several thousand items is tedious work.
