Can several staff count stock at the same time?

Yes. MISAll supports more than one person entering counts for the same stock take, which is usually the difference between a stock take that happens and one that keeps getting postponed.

A full count done by one person in a shop of any size means closing, or a very long night. Splitting the floor between three or four people and letting each enter their section is what makes a whole-shop count practical often enough to be useful.

The output you want is the variance list — book stock against counted stock, line by line, with gains and losses separated. Posting the adjustment is one step; reading the list before you post it is where the value is, because the lines that surprise you are the ones worth investigating.

Practical note: agree the cut-off before you start. Counting a shelf that is still being sold from produces a variance that means nothing, and is the most common reason a stock take has to be redone.

This sits in inventory management. Licensing is covered on pricing, and the rest of the questions are in Answers.
