Find the cause of slow checkout confirmation

Separate device checking, sale saving, fiscal issuance and ordinary printing to locate the delay.

Applies to:POS / Back Office

Steps

  1. Record approximate times for confirmation, status changes, success and paper output, together with the sale number.
  2. Compare similar simple cash transactions with those using membership, external payment or fiscal issuance while keeping the environment comparable.
  3. For device checks, inspect IP and printer state; for saving, inspect server/database connectivity; for delay after success, inspect printing.
  4. Give support the version, store, time, amount and relevant status screenshot while omitting unnecessary customer information.
  5. Resolve uncertain transactions before experiments. Repeated confirmation, force-closing or charging again is not a performance fix.

Notes and troubleshooting

No fixed checkout time is promised; performance depends on computers, network, database and connected services.
