Keyboard shortcuts and touch checkout

Use the shortcuts displayed by the current screen. The same key can perform different actions in the basket and payment dialog.

Steps

1. Common basket defaults are F6 quantity, F7 price, F8 line discount, F10 hold, F11 recall and F12 payment.
2. In payment, F9 toggles receipt printing and Enter/F12 confirms. Inspect the amount before confirming.
3. Adjust workstation keys in Shortcut Settings under Other Functions, avoiding conflicts with staff conventions.
4. In touch mode, choose products by category and verify the selected line before changing quantity, price or deleting it. Check readability after resizing columns or scaling the interface.
5. Lock the till when leaving and resolve unfinished work before handover. Use a bilingual staff reference card for common actions.
