Worked cash sale: total 7, cash 10, change 3

This verified example sells two bottles of Demo Water at 3.50 each: total 7.00, cash tendered 10.00 and change 3.00.

Steps

  1. Enter DEMO500, confirm item DOC-WATER-001 and set quantity to two.
  2. Choose Cash, enter the 10.00 actually handed over and verify change of 3.00 with zero remaining.
  3. Set receipt printing as required, confirm once and wait for the result.
  4. Record the successful sale number, give the change and query that number in sales history.
